Tekken Hybrid
Bundle a remake of the classic PS2 game Tekken tag tournament, a sneak peak into Tekken Tag tournament 2 prologue and a 3d- CGI movie, Tekken: Blood Vengeance together and you get Tekken Hybrid. Is the bundle a worthy buy? Let’s find out.
The HD vision of the Tekken Tag Tournament is definitely the bundle’s core and best offering. The game is insanely fast-paced with absolute tense fight. What’s more, all the player are unlocked for you right from the beginning. All you have to is just dive into the action. The tag battle combines a unique battle experience. You chose two characters to be sent to a battle against two opponents. You can switch between the characters whenever you like. Mastering the art of using both your character is the actual challenge. This is because when you switch between your characters, the resting character will gain health. You should need to know how much time your fighter would spend in the battle. It’s the key to winning. The moment one of your characters gets KO’d, you lose the game. The fights require loads of practice and skill and are quite a challenge.
The biggest disappointment, however, is that the lacks online functionality.
The second bit of the bundle is the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 prologue. This game gives you a sneak peak into the fourth coming title. You get four characters to choose from: devil Jin, devil kazuya, Alisa, Xiaoyu. When you play this, you know that Tekken Tag is definitely headed in the right direction. It provides much tighter battles and a much smoother gaming experience all around. Interestingly, you can perform combo moves with your tag partner. Being a demo, the game doesn’t have too much content to play around with.
The third bit of the package is the 3D- CGS movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance. The movie has its share of ups and downs. Although the movie is not really exciting, we don’t think it would disappoint a Tekken Buff.
